Why Dungarees?

They are practical- hundreds of pockets for: wipes, spare nappy, food pouches, banana (ultimate mum AND baby/ toddler snack). You can always match your baby to yourself- isn't this THE staple item that fills baby's wardrobe from day 1? Denim never dies (in fashion and literally, it's so hardwearing, ideal for kneeling on multiple floor types and standing, and kneeling and standing, and kneel... repeat, repeat, repeat) How often do they really need washing? Obviously this is all personal choice but these are up there with: bedding/ cushion covers/ the high chair cover (in our house at least). Who doesn't suit blue? It's like the LBD  (remaining in the realms of pre-baby days, maybe some time soon I'll dust off my favourite one from the Narnia section of the wardrobe.) When you're having a body confidence issue (literally my life every. single. day, right now) you can feel amazing simply with an awesome t-shirt underneath. They hide a multitude of body parts (my stomach). I think they're damn flattering, with a tapered leg and shapely torso coverage accentuating womanly curves but disguising the extra rolls.

They are perfect, and I mean PERFECT for breastfeeding when out and about, faff free!

There's always a pair to be had in charity shops, both adult and little one, so you don't have to spend the earth (but you also can if you want- win win). 3 cheers for dungarees, without you I'd be a naked mum-mess!
